Green, digital and demographic transitions are significantly changing the labour market. They are changing the working and personal lives of citizens, participation in society, professional future and lifelong learning.

The pandemic has had a strong impact on the labour market, on occupations and on the career paths of citizens around the world.
Faced with these challenges, the role of guidance centres appears to be major, matching labour market supply and demand; the economic growth of a nation; and social equity, LLG is a key mechanism supporting individual transitions into and through the labour market.

Furthermore, Guidance can support employment transitions with predicted shifts in the labour market and with extreme increases in unemployment, upskilling and reskilling needs (CEDEFOP, 2020).

In view of these needs, the motivation of STRONGER is to match skills and labour market needs by strengthening cooperation between enterprises and education actors and public and private actors through creating a one-stop-shop multi-stakeholder ecosystem to address guidance challenges and support youth navigate their skills development paths and careers.

Objectives:

The general objective of the project is to contribute to the improvement of organizations supporting young citizens in building professional pathways, by fostering the creation of a local integrated multi-stakeholders ecosystem addressing common lifelong guidance challenges.

Target group: 

School teachers and educators, Students and learners, Families and communities, Schools, educational institutions, other relevant stakeholders and general public.

Results:

• Overview of the needs, and challenges for lifelong guidance in each territory
• Innovative methodology to engage with youth for the services addressing the different needs of young people in each territory based on the involved actors
• 3 Training packages to create, implement and formalize a multi-partner ecosystem on a territory in order to develop a building multi-stakeholder ecosystem guide on a territory
• Protocol of competence on the content project
