Spaces of Diversity

The program “Spaces of diversity” is focused on a critical analysis of social structures that shape the perception of diversity and interculturality. Over the course of four days, we will explore how dominant discourses, institutional frameworks and social relations can encourage or hinder inclusion. We will place special emphasis on participatory methods that enable young people and marginalised groups to actively participate in the creation of spaces that represent and include them.

Program was held from 6th to 9th May in Osijek (Croatia), a city in eastern Croatia, at our community centre “Social atelier.” Social atelier is a place where DKolektiv empower citizens to think about the needs of their community and with our support address them through organizing events, gatherings, panel discussion, workshops, exhibitions, protests and others.
