Project dates: 07.11.2024-13.11.2024

The project “Building Inclusive communities” focuses on creating a more inclusive society for people with special needs by training youth workers to develop innovative communication and relationship-building skills. Through this initiative, youth workers will learn to better understand and support individuals with both mental and physical disabilities, fostering an inclusive environment in formal and non-formal settings.

The project seeks to raise awareness and equip youth workers with the necessary tools to support people with fewer opportunities, ensuring their adaptation and integration into everyday life. We want to build inclusive communities and make more professional and qualified youth workers who work with people with special needs. As the modern world evolves, we need more inclusiveness in it and it strengthens with the training courses with such strong desire and social empowerment aim.

Objectives:

  • To establish innovative methods for youth workers while working with young people with special needs.
  • To raise awareness of communicating and connecting with people with fewer opportunities.
  • To build an inclusive community in formal and non-formal settings.
  • To support the adaptation of people with special needs in real life and allow them to learn with others and not hide.
  • To improve the quality of the work of youth workers, employed or volunteered in centres and institutions where people with special needs come systematically.
